OPTITA has simplified and speeded up its customer service and has done away with warranty cards. From now on, a receipt is all that is required when taking a product in for warranty service. This solution not only ensures a smoother and faster customer service, but also improves the quality of service.

It also contributes to the conservation of natural resources.

Certain goods sold on the Kuvings.lt website are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, the terms and other conditions of which are specified in the descriptions of such goods and may be detailed in the purchase receipt or invoice.

If the appliance you have purchased requires special software installation or connection, you can contact a service centre (Table 1) or another company authorised by the manufacturer, i.e. with a licence, certificate. If the operating parameters of the appliance do not correspond to the technical parameters specified in the user manual, we recommend that you contact us immediately.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The warranty is for devices purchased from OPTITA UAB (hereinafter referred to as "OPTITA"). The warranty starts from the date of sale/transfer of the appliance, unless the contract provides otherwise. The warranty period of the appliance shall be specified in the purchase document.

The warranty may not apply if the warranty conditions listed below and/or the instructions for use of the appliance are breached. Where the faulty item or component is replaced within the warranty period, the new item or component is subject to a continuous warranty period.

The manufacturer's authorised repairers are listed in Table 1.

Guarantee obligations are terminated in the following cases:

1. In the event of failure due to natural disasters (lightning, flood, earthquake, fire), improper operating conditions, or due to the user's intent or negligence;

2. In the event of faults caused by illegal, inappropriate voltage sources or disruptions to the electricity grid;

3. Damage caused by foreign objects inside the appliance, sand, liquid (corrosion, oxidation), food, insects, etc.; failure to follow the rules of use of the appliance as specified in the appliance manual;

4. Damage caused by dropping, bumping or transporting the device after purchase, when the device is transported by the customer;

5. The fault has been repaired by an unauthorised service agent/person;

Guarantee obligations do not apply in the following cases:

6. The device has been deliberately damaged and dismantled;

7. The device has malfunctioned due to the installation of illegal software, disruption.

8. If the malfunction or abnormal functioning of the product is caused by viral applications.

9. If the fault is caused by the use of consumables or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.

10. If the optical disc recorder has failed due to a broken used information medium.

12. Software supplied with the device that includes end-user licensing agreements.

13. The number of permanently glowing or dark ('dead') dots allowed on liquid crystal display (LCD) screens is defined in the manufacturer's specifications. Provided that the presence of such dots does not exceed the display manufacturer's 'dead' dot limits, the presence of such dots in LCD displays shall not be considered as a fault or defect.

14. The appliance was not used in accordance with the instructions for use and the warranty card;

Warranty service rules:

15. When submitting the appliance for warranty repair, the buyer must submit the purchase document (cash register receipt, invoice) together with any other documents required by the seller;

16. The device must be delivered in packaging that ensures safe transport. If the appliance is delivered without packaging, the Seller shall not be liable for any mechanical damage caused during transportation;

17. The appliance or its component shall be accepted by the Seller by means of a deed of acceptance and transfer of goods. One copy of the act shall be given to the customer;

18. The goods cannot be returned without a document (the handover certificate). If you lose the transfer/acceptance document, you must have proof of identity;

19. For warranty service, please contact the nearest branch office of the Seller or an authorised service company specified by the Seller;

20. In the event of a failure to confirm the fault and/or in the event of a fault which is not covered by the warranty and free servicing, the customer shall bear all costs associated with the transportation of the goods to the service centre, fault finding and repair at his/her own expense;

21. Faults caused by the manufacturer during the warranty period shall be rectified by the manufacturer's authorised repairer (as stated in the warranty booklet) within 14-21 days of the appliance being handed over to the authorised repairer, or within 45 days in the case of a part that has to be shipped in from abroad;

22. The appliance will be replaced or refunded if the fault, which occurred during the warranty period, cannot be rectified;

23. The Seller shall not be liable for information lost on a defective data storage device or media. You are advised to keep copies of such information material;

24. When collecting the product, you must check that the complete set of the appliance brought in for repair is returned. No claims will be accepted for the complete set at a later date;

25. When your mobile phone is presented for repair, we recommend that you save the memory information on a SIM card or other device;

26. Servicing (replacement of batteries, other parts) is available at any manufacturer's authorised service centre, at the user's request, for a fixed fee;

27. If the customer does not collect the goods after the repair of the goods after having been informed of the possibility of collecting the goods, OPTITA UAB shall have the right to no longer keep the goods after 6 months from the completion of the repair.

Operating conditions of the device:

28. Relative humidity up to 95%, atmospheric pressure from 85kPa to 108kPa;

29. Vibration effects: frequency (10-55) Hz, acceleration up to 10 m/s (1g);

30. The room must be free of harmful corrosive substances and dust;

31. In case of sub-zero temperatures during transport, the device must be left unpacked for at least 6 hours under normal climatic conditions before switching on;

32. After moving the appliance from a room with a higher ambient temperature to a room with a lower ambient temperature (and vice versa), the appliance must not be connected to the mains for at least 3-5 hours;

33. All appliances shall be earthed, the mains supply shall be in good working order, with a supply voltage of 220V (±10%), frequency 50Hz. In the event of voltage fluctuations, voltage filters or stabilisers must be used.

        - temperatures between (10,2) ºC and (35,2) ºC;

        - relative humidity up to (93,3) % at (25,2) °C.

        - Vibration effects: frequency (10-55) Hz, acceleration up to 10m/s (1g).

        - atmospheric pressure from (84.3) kPa to (107.3) kPa.

Attention prohibited:

34. Do not place the device in direct sunlight, close to a heat source or magnetic radiation emitting devices.

35. Removing covers or otherwise damaging the appliance.

36. Place heavy objects on top of the appliance.

37. Use alcohol or other chemical solvents for cleaning.
