In this Privacy Policy, you can find out what information we collect about you when you visit www.kuvings.lt, use the UAB OPTITA application or submit your data in any UAB OPTITA physical store, what we do with this information, how long we store it and to whom we transfer it. You will also find important information about your rights in relation to the processing of your data. We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the Regulation), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts applicable to the processing of your personal data. Terms used in this Privacy Policy shall be understood as defined in the Regulation. Persons under the age of 14 cannot submit any of their personal data on our website. Website browsing statistics

We are constantly improving our website and strive to make using www.kuvings.lt as easy and convenient as possible. To do this, we need to know what information is of most interest to our website visitors, which cities our website is visited from, how often visitors log in, which browser they use, what content they are interested in, which devices they use to read the website and so on.

Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of direct marketing for a period of 3 years from the date of your consent and the date of the last contact with you. Upon expiry of this period or withdrawal of consent, your personal data will be immediately destroyed or no longer used to send direct marketing.

Providing personalised offers

We will use the data in your account and your purchase history to assess your needs and preferences so that we can offer you discounts on products that may be more relevant to you. We carry out this assessment (also known as profiling) in an automated way. We build customer profiles by assessing various demographic attributes and shopping trends. We can automatically select and offer products that other customers who have bought similar products to yours would normally be interested in.

Contact after your visit to the physical store

If you have provided your contact details or indirect access to your contact details to the store employee during your visit to the UAB OPTITA store or during a remote consultation, in order to receive a personalised offer, information about the goods you are interested in or other personal offers (promotions), We will use this data to create and provide you with a personalised offer and information about the goods and promotions you are interested in, to remind you of the expiry of the personalised offer, to contact you about the terms of the personalised offer and to answer your questions (to provide information). Based on your expressed interest in the relevant goods, we may automatically select and make personalised offers to purchase the relevant goods or take advantage of the related promotions together with the main personalised offer (information about the goods/promotions that interest you).


If you have given us access to your account on the website, we may also process your previous purchase history and other personal data stored in your account for the above purposes.


The legal basis for sending the above-mentioned notifications is your consent, expressed verbally or by active actions (by entering or entering your contact details) during the visit to the UAB OPTITA store or during the provision of a remote consultation or the completion of the registration form (Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation). You have the right to opt-out of direct marketing communications at any time.


 Data on persons to whom information on goods and services was provided

When you contact us for information or register for a telephone or video consultation, we process your personal data, such as your name, username, telephone number, e-mail address, names, quantities and prices of the products of interest, as well as the audio recordings of the telephone consultation, the timing and duration of the consultation, and the content of the messages provided during the consultation.

The legal basis for processing your data for the purpose of providing advice is the need to perform a contract (to provide an advice service) (Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation). The legal basis for processing an audio recording of a consultation call is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation).

We will retain your personal data processed for this purpose for 24 months after the date of the consultation, unless we need to process your personal data for longer than this period in order to comply with our statutory obligations, for example, to comply with instructions from public authorities or to participate in legal proceedings.


Customer data

Once you have created an account, we process your contact and order data when ordering and purchasing goods on the website, such as your name, surname, address, telephone number, e-mail address, product names, quantities, prices, payment details, pick-up location, order fulfillment, returns, date of birth where required for the guarantee of the product, details of the legal entity represented or details of the invoicing process. We will also use your email address to remind you about items left in your basket and pending orders.

We process your email address and the cash register receipt information associated with it for the electronic submission of the cash register receipt, if you have requested this at the time of purchase in the physical store.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the conclusion and performance of a sales contract between you and us (Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation) and the need to comply with legal obligations imposed on us by tax law (Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation). We will retain your personal data processed for this purpose for a maximum of 10 years after your purchase, unless we need to process your personal data for longer than this period in order to comply with our statutory obligations, for example, to comply with instructions from public authorities or to participate in legal proceedings.




Processing of personal data of candidates for vacant posts

Your personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of selection for a vacancy at UAB OPTITA and for the purpose of evaluating your candidature. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation). We keep your personal data for as long as we are recruiting for the vacancy(s) of your choice, but no longer than 1 calendar year after the end of the recruitment process for which you have provided your personal data, subject to your consent.


Your personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of selection for a vacancy at UAB OPTITA and for the purpose of evaluating your candidature. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation). Video surveillance

To ensure the safety of our employees and other persons, and to protect OPTITA's assets from theft and damage, we carry out video surveillance in our stores, offices and premises. The legal basis for processing your personal data is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation). Our video surveillance systems do not use facial recognition and/or analysis technologies and the video data they capture is not grouped or profiled according to a specific data subject (person).


Customers shall be informed about the video surveillance by means of information signs before entering the monitored area and/or premises. The field of surveillance of CCTV cameras does not include premises where you expect absolute protection of personal data. Your personal data (image data) collected during video surveillance shall be stored for a period of 7 (seven) to 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the moment of recording.

Who can see your data?


We keep your data secure at all times and require all our partners and service providers who have access to your data to ensure this.



Your data can only be viewed when strictly necessary and only by authorised persons committed to confidentiality:

OPTITA UAB employees who maintain the operation and content of the website;

Providers of website content management systems and website hosting services, providers of telecommunication applications;

The website analytics provider Google LLC (United States of America), to the extent necessary for website analytics purposes. The transfer of analytics data is also subject to contractual data protection obligations, which you can read here >>;

Provider of services for the marketing of website content and the maintenance of advertising campaigns, to the extent necessary for the purposes of advertising and marketing organisation;

If you have provided your personal data in order to receive a personalised commercial offer, your data may be viewed by the OPTITA UAB employee who submitted the offer, as well as by other employees and service providers who oversee the personalised commercial offer system;

Survey providers to whom we may pass on your contact details, as well as details of specific purchases, if you are asked about a product you have purchased;

How long do we keep your information?


We process your personal data for no longer than is required by the purposes for which the personal data were collected or for such period of time as may be prescribed by law. We have set out the retention periods for personal data in this Privacy Policy. Statistical information collected by Google Analytics tools and other cookies is usually used for up to 3 years. Since some of this information can only be deleted by our partners, they also determine the retention periods. Cookies usually remain on your devices for up to 2 years.

How can you access your data? What rights do you have?


If you would like to know what data we have collected about you, you can contact us at info@optita.lt. You can also contact us to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, revocation of consent, objection to processing on the basis of our legitimate interest, objection to processing for direct marketing purposes, where applicable, to exercise the right to data portability.


We will be obliged to verify (identify) your identity upon receipt of your request for data or to exercise your other rights. For this purpose, we may ask you to provide your name, surname, email address or telephone number and we will check whether the data you have provided matches the corresponding data. In addition, the request for access to the image data must specify which specific premises (shops) or area of OPTITA UAB you visited and at what time. The right of access to video data shall be exercised by coming to view the video at the address of the registered office of UAB OPTITA.


We will provide you with a response within no later than 1 calendar month from the date of receipt of your request, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. We have the right to extend the period of 1 calendar month by a further 2 months by informing you before the end of the first month and stating the reasons for such extension. If your request is made by electronic means, we will also respond to you by electronic means, unless this is not possible (e.g. due to the extremely large volume of information) or if you request us to respond to you in another way.
